Our ServenUpCatz Story

Welcome

My name is Diane Serven. My husband, Dave, and I live in California where ServenUpCatz started in 2004.

We began breeding and showing Himalayans and pointed Exotic Shorthairs and were doing well when family health issues arose that took priority. We have had to back-off from attending many of the cat shows and activities that we normally enjoy doing. But now, we are ready to resume breeding and showing our loveable cats and kittens.

Our Goal

We are proud of the accomplishments that we have achieved and especially the families that we have made happy with our kittens. Our goal is to consistently improve the qualities of our beloved breeds. Ideally they should present a heavily boned, well balanced kitten with a sweet expression with large round eyes set wide apart, on a large round head. This contributes to their overall look and alluring appearance.

PKD Negative

ServenUpCatz is proud to be a PKD negative cattery specializing in the Himalayan and Exotic Shorthair breeds. We have all our testing done at the Veterinary Genetics Lab at the University of California, Davis to insure the health of each and every one of our kitties.

Our Kittens

What's most important to us is that when the time comes to go to a new home, our kittens go to a kind and loving family where they will be loved and appreciated for the rest of their lives. All our kittens are well socialized as they are raised underfoot as part of our family. The kittens are all also accustomed to living with dogs as we have both a Doberman and Chihuahua as members of our household.
